1. About GoodFlaura Nutrition
GoodFlaura Nutrition provides personalised nutritional therapy and lifestyle support to adults aged 18 and over.
Services are delivered by Laura Higgins, a qualified Nutritional Therapist holding a Diploma in Nutritional Therapy with Distinction from the College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM), and registered with the Association of Naturopathic Practitioners (ANP) and General Naturopathic Council (GNC).
By purchasing a service from GoodFlaura Nutrition, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, subject to your statutory consumer rights. Please read them carefully before making payment.
2. Scope of Nutritional Therapy
Nutritional therapy aims to support health and wellbeing through personalised nutrition and lifestyle recommendations.
It is a complementary approach and is not a substitute for medical diagnosis, treatment or advice from your GP or another appropriately qualified healthcare professional.
GoodFlaura Nutrition does not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe medication or recommend discontinuing prescribed treatment.
You should continue to seek medical advice for existing or new health concerns. Where appropriate, GoodFlaura Nutrition may recommend that you consult your GP or another healthcare professional.
Individual outcomes vary, and specific results cannot be guaranteed.
3. Services and Pricing
3.1 Complimentary Discovery Call
A free 15-minute introductory call to discuss your health goals, explain the services available and determine whether GoodFlaura Nutrition may be suitable for your needs.
This call does not include a full nutritional assessment or personalised nutrition plan.
3.2 Nutrition Consultation & Follow-Up — £275
This standalone package includes:
One initial nutritional therapy consultation of approximately 90 minutes.
Review of completed pre-consultation questionnaires and a three-day food diary.
A personalised nutrition and lifestyle plan, normally provided within five working days following the initial consultation, subject to receiving all necessary information.
One follow-up consultation of approximately 45 minutes, ideally scheduled four to six weeks after the initial consultation.
The package is payable in full before the initial consultation.
The follow-up consultation must normally take place within 12 weeks of the initial consultation. Reasonable extensions may be agreed in exceptional circumstances, including illness or practitioner unavailability.
3.3 Ongoing Nutrition Support — £225 per month
This programme provides ongoing nutritional therapy support with an initial minimum commitment of three months.
Clients may enrol directly in Ongoing Nutrition Support without first purchasing the standalone Nutrition Consultation & Follow-Up package.
The total price for the initial three months is £675, payable in three monthly instalments of £225.
Month one — £225
One initial consultation of approximately 90 minutes.
Review of pre-consultation questionnaires and a three-day food diary.
A personalised nutrition and lifestyle plan.
One shorter progress check-in.
Months two and three — £225 per month
Two consultations per month, each approximately 30–45 minutes.
Review and adjustment of nutrition and lifestyle recommendations as appropriate.
Throughout the programme
Messaging support through Nurish Pro on weekdays.
Responses normally within two working days, excluding bank holidays and periods of notified practitioner absence.
Relevant resources, recipes and educational materials where appropriate.
Messaging support is intended for questions relating to your agreed nutritional therapy plan. It is not an emergency or continuous-access service.
Following the initial three-month commitment, the programme continues on a monthly rolling basis at £225 per month unless cancelled in accordance with Section 7.
3.4 Additional Costs
Functional testing, laboratory investigations, supplements and products are not included in the above prices unless expressly stated in writing.
Any additional costs will be explained before you decide whether to purchase them. Tests and supplements are optional unless otherwise agreed as part of your care.
4. Booking and Payment
Appointments are booked through GoodFlaura Nutrition's designated booking system.
Payments are processed securely through Stripe, integrated with Nurish Pro.
The Nutrition Consultation & Follow-Up package is payable in full before the initial consultation.
Ongoing Nutrition Support is paid through recurring monthly payments of £225, beginning on the agreed subscription start date.
The initial three-month commitment costs £675 in total, payable as three monthly instalments of £225. This includes the initial consultation and progress check-in in month one.
The three-month minimum commitment and ongoing renewal arrangements will be clearly explained before payment.
The applicable payment dates and amounts will be confirmed when you subscribe.
If a payment is unsuccessful, GoodFlaura Nutrition will contact you and provide a reasonable opportunity, normally seven days, to resolve the issue. Future appointments may be paused while an outstanding payment remains unresolved, provided this is reasonable in the circumstances.
Any changes to prices will be communicated in advance and will not alter the agreed price of an existing minimum commitment without your consent.
5. Appointments and Rescheduling
Please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
Where at least 24 hours' notice is provided, an alternative appointment will be offered, subject to availability and any applicable package validity period.
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed without notice, will normally be treated as used, where fair and lawful in the circumstances.
GoodFlaura Nutrition recognises that unexpected circumstances arise and may waive this policy in cases of illness, emergencies or other exceptional circumstances.
If GoodFlaura Nutrition needs to cancel an appointment, an alternative appointment will be arranged without penalty to the client. Where an appropriate alternative cannot be provided, a fair refund or other suitable remedy will be offered.
Clients are encouraged to book their appointments in good time. GoodFlaura Nutrition will make reasonable appointment availability available throughout the programme.
6. Package Validity and Unused Appointments
The Nutrition Consultation & Follow-Up package is normally valid for 12 weeks from the initial consultation.
For Ongoing Nutrition Support, consultations are allocated to each monthly billing period. Unused consultations do not ordinarily roll over to the next month.
Exceptions may be agreed where appropriate, including serious illness, emergencies, practitioner unavailability or other circumstances where strict application would be unfair.
Any appointment that cannot reasonably be provided because of GoodFlaura Nutrition's availability will not simply be forfeited.
7. Ongoing Programme Renewal and Cancellation
Ongoing Nutrition Support has an initial three-month minimum commitment costing £675 in total, paid as three instalments of £225.
After this initial period, the programme automatically continues on a monthly rolling basis at £225 per month.
Clients may give notice at any time that they do not wish the programme to renew beyond the initial commitment.
For ordinary cancellation of a forthcoming monthly renewal, GoodFlaura Nutrition requests at least 14 days' notice before the next scheduled billing date.
Clients can request cancellation by emailing laura@goodflaura.com.
GoodFlaura Nutrition will acknowledge the request and confirm the applicable final payment date and service end date.
Cancellation requests will be processed fairly and promptly. The notice requirement will not restrict statutory cancellation rights or be applied in a way that unfairly extends a client's payment obligations.
GoodFlaura Nutrition will provide appropriate renewal information and reminders in accordance with applicable consumer law.
Once the programme has ended, no further recurring payments will be collected, except for any amounts lawfully outstanding.
8. Early Termination of the Three-Month Programme
The initial three-month programme is intended to provide sufficient time for assessment, implementation and review of nutritional recommendations.
If a client wishes to end the programme early, they should contact GoodFlaura Nutrition as soon as possible.
The minimum commitment will normally apply, subject to statutory cancellation rights and the requirement that any early termination charge must be fair and proportionate.
GoodFlaura Nutrition will consider requests for early termination, pauses, extensions or partial refunds individually, particularly where circumstances include serious illness, bereavement, significant personal difficulties or other exceptional events.
Clients will not automatically be charged the full remaining programme price regardless of the services provided or the circumstances of cancellation.
Any amount retained or charged will be assessed fairly, taking account of work completed, legitimate costs and losses, and applicable consumer law.
9. Statutory Cancellation Rights and Refunds
9.1 Your Statutory Rights
If you purchase services online or otherwise enter into a qualifying distance contract, you will generally have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days after the day the contract is entered into, without giving a reason.
Applicable statutory exceptions and any additional rights under subscription-contract legislation will be respected.
To exercise your cancellation right, please send a clear statement to laura@goodflaura.com.
You may use the cancellation form provided with your booking confirmation, but you do not have to use that form.
9.2 Services Beginning During the Cooling-Off Period
If you wish GoodFlaura Nutrition to begin providing services before the applicable statutory cancellation period ends, you will be asked to make a separate express request.
Where the law permits, if you subsequently cancel during that period, you may be required to pay a proportionate amount for services already provided.
If a service has been fully performed during the cancellation period, the statutory cancellation right may be lost only where the relevant legal requirements, including any required prior acknowledgement, have been satisfied.
9.3 Refunds
Where a statutory cancellation right applies, refunds will be calculated and processed in accordance with the relevant law.
Where required under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, refunds will be made without undue delay and within 14 days of receiving the cancellation notice, using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
Outside statutory cancellation periods, refunds will be assessed fairly, taking account of services already provided, the reasons for cancellation and any applicable consumer rights.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits your statutory rights, including rights relating to services not provided with reasonable care and skill.
10. Client Responsibilities
To help ensure nutritional recommendations are safe and appropriate, clients agree to:
Provide accurate and complete information about their health, medical history, medications, supplements and relevant lifestyle factors.
Inform GoodFlaura Nutrition of significant changes to their health or medication.
Complete requested questionnaires and food diaries as accurately as reasonably possible.
Seek medical advice when recommended or when symptoms require medical assessment.
Understand that implementing nutrition and lifestyle recommendations is voluntary and that individual outcomes vary.
GoodFlaura Nutrition may recommend pausing or discontinuing services where the client's needs fall outside the practitioner's professional scope or where continued support would be inappropriate.
Any associated financial arrangements will be handled fairly.
11. Confidentiality and Data Protection
GoodFlaura Nutrition respects client confidentiality and handles personal information in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation.
Health information is treated as special category personal data and will only be processed where an appropriate lawful basis and additional condition for processing health data apply.
Nurish Pro is used to support client management and communication, and Stripe is used for payment processing.
Further details about how information is collected, used, stored, shared and retained are provided in GoodFlaura Nutrition's separate Privacy Policy.
Information will not ordinarily be shared with a client's GP or another healthcare professional without appropriate permission, except where disclosure is legally required or otherwise lawfully justified.
12. Communication and Emergencies
Clients may contact GoodFlaura Nutrition through the agreed communication channels.
For Ongoing Nutrition Support, weekday messaging is included within the scope described in Section 3.
Messaging and email are not monitored continuously and must not be used for urgent medical concerns.
For medical emergencies, call 999. For urgent non-emergency medical advice in England, contact NHS 111 or an appropriate healthcare professional.
13. Educational Materials and Intellectual Property
Nutrition plans, recipes, handouts and other resources supplied by GoodFlaura Nutrition are intended for the client's personal use.
They must not be reproduced, redistributed, sold or used commercially without prior written permission, except where permitted by law.
14. Complaints and Concerns
GoodFlaura Nutrition aims to provide a professional, supportive and respectful service.
If you are unhappy with any aspect of your care, please contact laura@goodflaura.com so your concerns can be reviewed.
Complaints will be acknowledged within five working days, with a substantive response provided as soon as reasonably practicable.
Clients may also seek advice about their consumer rights or raise professional concerns through appropriate external organisations.
15. Changes to These Terms & Conditions
GoodFlaura Nutrition may update these Terms & Conditions to reflect changes in services, business processes or legal requirements.
The version applicable when a client enters into a contract will ordinarily govern that contract.
Material changes affecting existing clients will be communicated appropriately and will not be imposed unfairly.
16. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply.
Nothing in these terms removes any right a consumer has to bring proceedings in a court with jurisdiction under applicable law.
